Pushing 23,000

That's exciting. I'm pushing 23,000 hits on my blog. That is since August 1, 2006 when I installed my site meter. That's pretty good, I think.

I think about blogging a lot. Whether I am planning posts, planning pictures or just reflecting on my "internet life." It's really been a rewarding experience for me, thus far, and I am very thankful for that.

I read a lot of blogs. The ones I have linked on my blog are probably only about half of the blogs that I read, regularily (at least once a week). It's pretty amazing how the blogging friends that I have made can have an impact on my life. I have read a lot of stories about women struggling (or who were struggling) with infertility. These women have truly changed the way I am carrying myself through this pregnancy. As much as some of the things I have read sadden me and frighten me, I appreciate the awareness I have gained. I love reading stories from other pregnant women and other mothers and fathers. They, all, have given me little lessons, at times, and new ideas and inspirations as well.

I guess I just wanted to say "Thank You", also, to all those who read my blog. Especially to those who let me know that you are around. It's a funny thing looking on my site meter and seeing fifty hits on a certain post, and one comment. Sometimes, I feel kinda sad because I have no feedback, then other times I remember how rushed I can feel when I am reading blogs and don't want to take the time to enter in my information and password, or read through and copy the word verification. I very much enjoy reading snippets of your lives and I will try to do a better job of letting you know that I've been by.

Ladies that commented about H on my last post, thank you. I do need to remember that he is a toddler and there will be days... Yesterday, truly, was one of them! I was so glad that I had my Mom at the school choir concert I went to last night, as support to watch him. I got to enjoy watching the choreography I had done (the kids did a great job) and also enjoy seeing my students outside of the classroom environment and I wasn't stressed out about the boy. Today, it appears that my little boy is back, we'll see how long it lasts!

Anyhow, thanks again blog-readers. I am going to have a CONTEST to deliver a teacher-prize (aka stickers and a pencil) to my 23,000th hit. I won't know who you are unless you comment... haha!! Bribery, at it's best!
Have a great day everyone!!

Great pictures!
I agree with what you say about blogging, the reasons why you like it are the same for me. :)

I love blogging too. Obviously lol but it's so much a part of my life. My family reads my blog and I always thought that would freak me out but it does not. I think in a way it gives them a different perspective on me and my life

What very sweet words! I'm going to try my hardest to check back so I can be your 23,000th hit! OH, but it'll prolly cost you more to send the pencil to the states than it's worth!

Oh, about your post below: Isn't it soo fun to meet fellow bloggers in real life?!!!

I read your blog regularly and too feel a little left out when there are few comments left. I quit looking at my stat counter. I tend to read more blogs than I actually link to mine.
