Kicking?
Hunter loves to get himself into the middle of things and this baby business is no different. He's all over it! He smoochs, he hugs, he feels for kicks... all the stuff he sees Daddy do, I guess. It's pretty stinkin' cute. I'm looking forward (but not too forward, August is good) to seeing how he reacts to having his world totally rocked by the arrival of this little one. This is a squatting pose to allow Hunter to touch the belly. He asked "kicking?" and pulled up my shirt to place his hand on my tum. This picture was taken at 23w 2d

I think it's because she's younger (almost 17 months) but the Beast has no clue that there's a baby in my tummy. I point to it and tell her "baby" and she smiles or laughs. She will poke my belly, probably wondering why it's getting so big. But I think she's clueless. And she's not going to be happy when he/she gets here because she gets mad when I hold someone elses baby! Yikes!

I'm curious about how Abby will do too. I'm sure both will do just wonderfully. I'm reading "Welcoming Your Second Baby" right now and it has some really cute ideas for getting your older one involved in the pregnancy and birth. Worth a look!
