The Sky Is Falling
Last weekend, Justin was pulling a bathroom fan in the ceiling of our bathroom. We, unfortunately, don't have one already and are suffering greatly at the lack of it. So, he decided to put one in. What an adventure for Hunter to witness. There was a ladder in the hallway and the attic opening was open, tools all over the bathroom and Dad disappearing into the hole in the ceiling.
A few hours into the project, sawing was heard in the house as Justin cut a hole in the bathroom ceiling. Hunter ran to watch from the hallway. As he observed, a piece of the ceiling fell and slammed to the floor. Hunter was startled and ran to the kitchen. "Fall" he said.
A few days later, our house still resembles somewhat of a construction zone as the tools are still out and the fan is not completely installed in the ceiling. Every time Hunter walks past or into the bathroom, he points at the fan and cries out "Fall. Fall! Fall."
He's Chicken Little, the poor little guy!

Our attic access is in our bedroom closet and Max has watched Paul go up several times. Of course Max was suprvising again the other day when Paul was installing a new pot light and fixing the fan. Paul came down and went back up again. Max asked if he was going into the bathroom again. Paul said yes, and Max said, "Daddy go pee up in that bathroom?" Cute, but, no.
okay, that is pretty funny, especially the Chicken Little reference. Way to go with the home renovations. How you been feeling?
