I Wanna Be A Wrapper

I think the term is actually, babywearer, but I prefer wrapper because that's what I want to be, besides it sounds kinda funny, too.



Steph, is having acontest that I just couldn't pass up. She is holding a contest bor a gift certificate from MamaKanga. As all you who read my blog, know, I have a very active little boy and I am looking forward to a year of maternity leave. I am trying to figure out ways to help out my family, in the coming year, and the main thing here is to avoid getting a second vehicle which Justin needs to get to work. Well, I have adventured on the bus with Hunter and it was a lot of fun. I've often thought, though that a nursing babe and a toddler is a bit of a challenge, especialy with the stuff that I will have to carry with me if I want to go out. SO, I have been perusing sites that feature slings and wraps and have been reading a lot about babywearing. I guess that my style of parenting is what you would call "attachment" parenting, where slinging is a real benefit to developing that attachment. I was to be able to nurse, discreetly, in public, as well. Well, here's what I would buy at MamaKanga if I were to win the gift certificate...

I have a ring sling that I received as a gift when Hunter was born, but I didn't use it very much until he was about one. He liked it, I liked it, we could do yard work together with it. I'm looking forward to trying out a wrap with this next baby. I think that I am going to have to get one, even if I don't win...
