Dollah dollah bill...

Today, I pulled on a new maternity shirt that I picked up last Thursday. I am quickly outgrowing the items I was loaned and don't want my teeny friend, Steph, to never be able to wear these things even when she's nine months prego. So, I went shopping for some missing items from my wadrobe. Those items are: a jean skirt, shorts and some more summery shirts. I only have five weeks left of work, then I can grunge it, but I do have some important events this summer that I would like to be able to look nice for. Anyhow, I went shopping with Hunter in tow. We had a great time... he pulled items off the racks and said "pretty", crawled under the closed door of the wrong changeroom, played with the other little kids whose mommies were shopping and ate snacks on the changeroom floor with me. I picked up some necessary items that I am truly comfortable in (for now).



That being said, here are some shots of the new attire, the 27 week belly and the sale shirt (pink). A note of interest: I always wear two shirts when I work. I had a student notice the other day and call me on it. I'd rather wear two shirts and know that I have another layer for uninvited belly-touchers (which, I'm usually okay with), I think. Also, I feel a little more secure.




As you can see, I was trying to look "fun" and "modellish". Yeah, I didn't really pull it off. Oh well.

So, I love it when I look under the sale tag of a recently purchased item. It's always fun. Well, it's less fun when you pay 2 dollars less than the "original" price, or if the "sale" isn't even any different, it just has a different colour...

My pink shirt's original price was a whopping $59, which I would never pay for a shirt that I will only get to wear a handful of times at my klutziest time of life. Guess how much I paid for it???
