More Travellin' Stories
Hunter was loving the "clips" on the plane. Thank heaven that we had a free seat between us so that he had a little more space to roam.
Hunter's head fit fully through the railings here. I was thinking "That's definitely not up to code."
Here are a set of locks on the Rideau Canal. They are run by two guys who have to be there all day every day in case a boat arranges to pass through. They close allow the boat in, change the water level, then the boat goes out on the other side.
Hunter blowing off some steam in Elizabeth Manley Park.
The closest we got to Parliament.
The only wildlife we saw.
The three stooges? (sorry, James)
Proof that the little one, in utero, has been to the Nation's capital (though this pic was taken from across the bridge, in Gatineau Québec).
Standing beside the Museum of Civilization looking at Parliament's lights.
Proof that we were in Québec! French signs. Apparently my birthday is important because you aren't allowed to park there until then!
Hunter found some sweet rocks and put them in the puddle. When he handed the rock to Justin, he discovered that one of the rocks contained a fossil!
Pretty church, pretty houses.
Mount Royal park (I think?). We chased Hunter around here for quite some time. He had a blast and it was a beautiful day. So beautiful, in fact, that there was a lady beside us on the hill this shot was taken from, who was sunbthing... nude?! Her bag was conveniently placed so that we couldn't tell and I wasn't about to get a closer look.

I love the utero pic! What a clever idea.
BEAUTIFUL place. I really really want to explore Canada someday. I have only been to Toronto. The belly shot is great!
Looks like you had a GREAT trip! I'm glad. You look good too.
Looks like a great time! Great pictures :)
Wow, sounds like a great trip. I love the belly shots. You should be pregnant whenever you go on a trip, so you can have your cute belly at every popular site/landmark!
BTW, I went back to my latest blog post and TAGGED YOU. I don't know why I didn't before. You'd be the OBVIOUS choice. Sooo.... get to work! ;)
Once again, great shots! What a beautiful place.
I think I'm going to have to start planning our summer vacation to Ottawa and Quebec. I've been there before but I'm still blown away by how beautiful they are.
Your pictures really make me want to go to Ottawa. I love it there and it's been way too long since I've been there. I lived there for the summer between 2nd and 3rd year nursing. Ottawa in the summer is unbelievable. So hot and humid sometimes that it hurts to breathe and you're drenched as soon as you walk out the door and then the thunder storms at night are amazing. Maybe Travis and I will have to try and get out there before the wedding.
Just more proof of what a wonderful trip you had!!!
And that your little one is a science, nature buff in the making :)
