kinda wheezy
Hunter is sick. Yucky sick. Coughing, runny nose... having a hard time breathing. He was really laboured breathing this afternoon, and we could see his chest heaving and his body position to compensate for the struggle.
So, we took him to Emergency. This is the second time in six weeks that we have made that trip for the same reason - "respiratory distress". It's a little un-nerving, calling it that. We are so thankful to live somewhere where we have good doctors (someone that I grew up down the street from.. I used to have a crush on him, when I was 9, and he tied up my skates at the neighbourhood rink) and fast treatment when you are carrying a child in "respiratory distress".
It turns out that he may be at a risk for asthma becase of his dual treatment, so far. Now, we are home and I will be at home tomorrow to stay with my little sicky. I hope that he gets better very very soon.

I hope Hunter feels better soon. As soon as he feels better the rest of the family will too.
Poor Hunter. That is such a scary experience, no matter how many times it happens
That stinks :( I hope your little guy gets to feeling better soon.
Little Boys need their mommies when they are sick. I'm sure he's feeling better already knowing that you are staying home with him today. Give him a hug from us too. Get better soon Hunter!!! Maybe this was Hunter's ploy...." I'm going to get sick so that I can have mommy all to myself for a whole day... ha ha ha ha."
Haha, I know who that Dr is and I got to dance with him at a wedding but only because he was dating my cousin *sigh*.
I hope Hunter feels better soon. I can only imagine the stress of a sick baby.

Last winter, we had to give Ian breathing treatments. The first time we put put him on the machine, he freaked out, so did I. Mommies hate to see little ones scared and suffering. Hunter, get well soon.
