Birthday Party!

Thanks to everone that sent Happy Birthday wishes and to those that managed to make it out to Hunter's party. It was a lot of fun and I hope that you had fun too. Thanks, also, to those that helped out with different things - cleanup, prep, picture-taking, etc... we appreciate the time you took, and your presence!! Thanks, too, for the awesome presents! Hunter is very very much loving all the new stuff he has to play with. We are going to be doing some serious switching of baby toys to one-year-old toys (or toys for 3+, hehe).

Opening presents was a lot of fun! Hunter was spoiled. Thank you!

The caterpillar and baby caterpillar cake looked a lot like worms, but it tasted pretty good. Hunter was very dainty, at first, and just pulled off the licorice "hairs," then he decided that he should try to eat it. He was extremely careful and it wasn't until AJ asked "How big is Hunter?" that he got it into his hair. That's alright, though, there's very little that a bath or a pool dip can't wash off! I'm sure that, in time, I will find things that ca't wash off - aside... I have already discovered oil-based paint and pitch. He's cleaned up from that fun!!

Sleeping boy, took a cat nap (40 minutes) after being AWAKE ALL DAY!!! and is now (behind me, playing hard, ready to go for the night, apparently.
