Where on Earth did the school year go? Now, I have only a few weeks left to earn before I am unemployed for two months. Let's hope the savings hold! Praise God for there might just be enough there!

Yes, the reality of teaching and being unemployed for the summer has hit! You have lots of time to do things (yeah!) without the funds to support the activities! So...you get creative - camping for fun and living off the garden vegetables always worked for us. It's a bitter-sweet realization, but I'm willing to bet that there are millions of people working full time throughout the summer who think they'd love to have the teachers' seasonal period off work. What they don't realize is the financial side of it. One thing is for certain - it's a great way to bring up kids - having the same holidays!
wow, how nice to have summers off. That is such a great perk to the job of teaching. Two full months spent with your little man, how fun! Enjoy your last few weeks;)

We'll totally meet you guys this summer. We're going to the cabin this weekend, but plan on fishing!
I'm thinking we'll do the Wildlife Park in July :)
