TaDaaaa...gone public!

So, I finally have links attached to my blog. Also, I copied Christy and added a guestbook. Now, you can leave me comments whenever you like. AND, just to let you know... I love getting comments on my posts. That way, I feel like I really am connecting with all of you out there... Good times!

Anyhow, I would like to tell you a little bit about the people that I am linking. So, I will try to limit myself to five sentences about each (becuase I could go on forever).

"Heigh Inside" featuring Christy and her family. Christy and I met through our husbands (before they were our husbands). Christy is a wonderful example of a loving and caring woman and mother. She is a fabulous friend to many and I feel lucky to include her as one of my friends. Christy introduced me to blogging (thanks!). I love that when our families are together, we enjoy each others' company by just sitting around or we can do whatever, it's always terrific to spend time together. Christy, we miss you guys!

"Danka's World" featuring Danica and her family. Danica and I also met through the men, before we were married. Danica is an incredible cook, an uplifting friend, and a skilled procrastinator - like me! Danica has fuelled my Pampered Chef addiction for the last couple years, thanks, dude! Danica and I have shared many time of sitting together, discussing whatever is going on in our lives in great detail. Danica, I cherish that you are always there to listen to whatever I have going on. Thank you.

"Laowai Adventures" featuring Erika and Corey's adventures. You may already know that I have had incredible sponsor teachers, in my teacher education, Erika is one of them. Erika was so supportive and so awesome as my sponsor teacher, I am so thankful that our paths crossed and that she is my friend. Erika and her husband, Corey, are currently in Xiangfan, China, teaching and adventuring. Their stories make me want to travel and yet reading them I feel like I am having the adventures, too.

"Ramblings" featuring Maureen and her family. Maureen and I met in my first year of the OUC ETEP program. She struck me, from the very beginning, as an in credible woman and as I grew to know her, I learned that I was right! Maureen and I shared many whispered moments in Sharon's class (ha! I can't even remember what it was!). Maureen is an exceptional teacher and an amazing Mom. Even though we don't really see each other, now that we have graduated, we keep in touch through our blogs. Maureen, I love reading about you and your kids' adventures.

"Ian and Kristin" featuring... Ian and Kristin. Sorry guys, I am going to ditch out on writing lots about you because I devoted a post to you. Here it is. K 'n I, know that we love you and will do whatever you need for wedding help, just let us know... we're so stoked!

"Adventures in Nunavut" featuring Nick. Nick and I met in the OUC Etep program, as well. We were often in the same group in our drama class and made some sweet newspaper puppets with Sarah. He is currently teaching in Nunavut!! This blog features his adventures in the Great White North.

"Jen McG" featuring Jen (and Rylan and Cara and Nala). Jen and I met in homeroom in grade eight at St. Ann's. Jen and I have many zany memories from "Hold That Ghost" to Frisbee drinking games (so stupid). I feel super lucky that I have been able to have so many memories with such an awesome chick. Jen is an incredible person who has done an incredible job of staying connected with me - scatterbrain that I am. Jen is just all-around terrific and I am so glad that we have been able to stay in touch over the years as our lives change and we get (sniff, sniff) older. Love you tons, Jen.

"My Little Family" - featuring Melissa and her family. Melissa and I also met in the education program. She is a mom to three beautiful little girls - the most recent born in September. Melissa is busy busy busy, as you might imagine once you see her blog.

"China 2005 - 2006" featuring Jess and Ty. Jessica and I met in the education program, as well. Jessica is an awesome girl and I am so thankful for her friendship and her generosity. I am forever indebted to her for all the rides to and from school. Jess and I had lots of fun planning grad events and other fun times. - like the garage sale and cookie exchange. Jess is currently teaching in China with her boyfriend, Ty. They are having many crazy adventures there!

and last but not least...
"Woman of the World" featuring Rebecca. Becca and go way back. We sang in the Children's Choir together when we were in elementary school, met again in high school and became close friends. As we have grown up and grown apart, we have stayed friends and I am so thankful to her. Becca and I can sit down after a long time of not talking and it feels like we never parted. We have made MANY memories together of sleepovers at her house or mine, birthday parties, camping adventures, times at the cabin... the list goes on. Becca, also a teacher, is currently teaching in Busan, South Korea.

Well folks, that's about it for now. Enjoy the blogs of my friends, and please, sign my guestbook!
