you know...

...that I am procrastinating when I check all the blogs that I peruse three times in one day and there is one new post for thirty-odd blogs.
I think that I am in denial about the intense amout of gift-making that I have to do this year. Maybe that's why Danica and I took our kids to the Santa Claus Parade this morning - procrastination! Well, that and a chance to visit and to see my sisters in the parade.
Love you, Danica! Girls, you were awesome! Adora and Grace, don't eat your candy all at once! Mom, I was glad that we could meet up.

Thanks for calling me and reminding me about the parade! It was fun to see you and your mom and sisters. Not to mention that cute little baby of yours. I think my kids forgot about the candy already, but they've been lugging those bears around all day.

By the way, I'm procrastinating working on my paper AND doing the dishes by checking out your blog! The dishes are leftover from the cookies I made to procrastinate doing my homework!

It's funny; I think the last time I was at the Santa Claus Parade was when you and your siblings were on the Jr. Forest Wardens' float. I guess I'm not a big fan of parades unless I can see my family in them, eh? It was fun to see Heather and Amanda dancing in the parade with their awesome hats and scarves! I enjoyed visiting with you, seeing you as a young Mom with your friend and holding sweet Hunter. He wasn't really into the parade either! He hasn't actually figured out the 'candy' thing yet!

I'm right there with you checking out other's blogs. A bit of a problem, I think. Procrastination when it comes to friends and family is called special time. Nothing to worry about, just cherish the time when you have it. All the dirty dishes and stuff at home will stay put and wait for you. Have a great day.
Maureen
