Revoked License?

So, I forgot to share this story a while ago... here it is now.
My driver's license has been revoked! Yeah, you heard me... I have one speeding ticket on record - seven years ago. I have been in two accidents, but that is unrelated. Anyhow, I got a letter in the mail a couple days ago saying that I was no longer permitted to drive and that my license had been revoked. The reason??? I'll get there. Anyhow, I had been at work and my kind husband called the people who sent the letter and reamed them out for this letter, which he says made no sense. The truth is that I had gotten two letters asking me to have a physical exam done because I have my class 4 license (15 passenger/small bus). I am too cheap to pay to get a physical done when I don't really care to keep my Class 4, so I just didn't ever go to get it done... I thought that they would just downgrade my license to the regular Class 5 if I didn't get the exam. Turns out that, noooo... they don't just automatically downgrade you (that would be too easy), they have to remove your license!
So, sweet! Anyhow, I didn't ever end up without a license, nor did I have to pay to have my license re-issued, I just went into the Drivers' Services office and told them that I wanted to downgrade. There was no charge, it was just done.
Funny thing about that, though... when I went in, I had a huge scratch on my forehead. Yeah, I don't even have a cool story for the scratch, I just scratched myself on my own stupid forehead with my own stupid nail while primping my stupid hair - note to self, don't primp, it doesn't help anyways. I have had constant reminders with students asking continually "What happened to your head?" No, they don't say - "Ow, what a big scratch. How did you get it?".. they just say "What happened to your head?" And I have to share my stupid story about how I am a huge clutz. I guess that I could have made something up - like I rescued a starving farm kitten from my yard, or something... Anyhow, the Drivers' Services lady looks at me, smiles and says "So, would you like to keep your old picture, or get a new one?"
Uhhh, the old one. Thanks. Then I have to tell her the story. I'm such a dork!
