This is IT!

No, not baby. This is the contest I am going to win. I can just feel it. Besides, I am probably goingto be induced on the day this contest ends so what better way to celebrate (can you rig it, Steph?). Just jokin' I know it's all gotta be fair and random. But. It'd be nice.

Aside - I'm okay with induction. I have been there once and it wasn't terrible. I was induced "yesterday" with Hunter and he was born "this morning". See my last post if that makes no sense to you. Back to my ever-rambling thoughts... induction, okay, not bad... I mean, hey, Hunter is incredible and I couldn't ask for a more loving and caring little boy. The point is that I would love to know that my body can do it without help, which, apparently, it cannot. Do you know what I mean? Anyhow, back to the contest.

Steph is having another contest to give away a ring sling that looks super cool. You know that I have been desiring to wear this next kid and also that Hunter is a big fan (in fact, I made a wrap that's kinda like a mei tai and Justin wore it with Hunter in it... ohmygoodness, so in love!).

So, here are the details:

Rockin' Baby is the place to see the cool sling that is in this giveaway. They have tons of really cool slings and they also show you all sorts of different ways to wear your baby and to use their product. The prize this weekend is the Strawberry Fields Forever Sling. Ain't it purty?
Here's hoping that my newest little babe, gets to be carted around in here!!

Ha- you're so cute! I am very honest, so I can't help you there- but you have a good chance to win!!! Hoping you don't have to be induced, too!

Thanks for entering!

Steph

I love baby wraps and slings. Only my son Kynan didn't. And Ava only when she is sleeping. But good luck with the contest. And a side note... I was induced with Kynan too and he is a happy bubbling boy. I almost was with Ava. Sometimes it comes down to what's best for baby and mom. Thinking of you as you near the welcoming moment.

You and me just need to get our bodies together and we'd have great pregnancies and deliveries... Wish I could send you my contractions and you could send me all your extra days. Thanks for your comments, they mean a lot.

Got my fingers crossed for you to win that sling. It is beautiful!

I never had contractions with Ian, my water broke, so they induced me. Ended up with a C-Section. Never got any contractions with Laurel, so instead of being induced, going through tons of Labor, I decided to just go for the C-Section since I'd most likely end up there again anyway. I guess my body missed the contraction lecture.

Hi Elizabeth -- I was induced with Sarah at 10 days over. We went in to be induced with Ben at 7 days, but the hospital was busy so they put us off to the next day, but.... the nurse who was on 'checked' me (and also swept my membranes as a result of Trav and I begging so much) and Benny was born naturally about 12 hours later. So, a little begging of the nurses didn't hurt us.

Either way, you'll do great, and baby WILL come by next week!

I really hope you win that sling! That would be great icing on the cake! I'm glad you're feeling okay about induction again, and I so know what you mean about wanting to know you can do it on your own, but Hunter is perfect proof that no matter how your babes enter the world you are a SUPER MOM!
