Uncharted Territory
*updated*
So, we're heading into unknown waters, here's why.
Hunter was due on the 27th day of a month with 31 days. May 27th *thanks Kristin*.
"Tuna" was due on the 27th day of a month with 31 days. August 27th
Crazy, I know.
With Hunter, I was induced at 9:30am on the 6th day of the following month, at ten days overdue. June 6th
With "Tuna".. that's today. I would have been induced today, had we still been living in Kelowna. That means that looking at how things went with H, I would have been experiencing contractions in about... two hours. I would have been welcoming my new baby as of 8:16am tomorrow morning.
They say every child is different... I already knew that.
My thoughts... I've never been this far overdue and not had something happening to make the pregnancy near its conclusion - uncharted territory.
P.S. I caught a cold and I'm miserable. Fun fun fun, eh?
P.P.S. If this baby doesn't end up coming by itself, I will be seeing my doc early am on Monday the 10th, which is when he wants me induced. We'll see where "things" are at and we'll go from there.

have they given you an inducement date yet?
Crappy timing for a cold! Maybe your body is sick because it's getting ready to birth a baby instead of fight of germs??
I hope it's soon for you and that you can have the babe before your induction on Monday!
A cold!! What is with that! That sucks!
Babies come when they are ready, he or she must be very content. :)
-June and August have 31 days...
but yes crazy!
thanks, Jen, for answering that question! and hopefully, Elizabeth, your cold will be gone by then...
When did you start calling this baby Tuna????? Did I miss something???? LOL. Maybe we'll have our babies on the same day!!! If not, they'll be 2 days apart, since I'm being induced next Wednesday.
While I am definitely not a fan on inductions, (crossing my fingers already!), I am a fan of knowing there is a strong light at the end of the tunnel, as in an actual countdown to baby! I hope it all goes well for you, which ever way it goes and I can hardly wait until next week! Wishing you much love and prayin for ya!
oh girl...I can not imagine how anxious you must feel, not to mention feeling crappy and sick! I am sending labor vibes your way. Thank you for including me on your email list, that is great!
I hope you feel better soon! Since I do not have kids, I have no idea the anticipation and anxiousness you must be feeling to meet your little one, but I'm guessing it's more than the excitement I feel when Christmas is coming (that's tough to beat though!) I'll send some prayers up for you and your family :)
Thinking of you and praying for you. I was induced with both Nathan and Emily and LOVED it, but everyone is different.
Thanks for including me in the mass email :)
Keep us posted! Hee!
Your family is in our prayers! God will not give you something you can't handle though. Thanks for keeping us posted. Here's to a healthy delivery for mommy and baby! And a smooooth transition for big brother ;)
That's funny about the birthdays because that is the way I think. I have two born on the 17th and one on the 22nd so I wanted this little girl to have a 22nd birthday! It would of made life so much easier but she will be here next Friday at the latest. Oh yeah I found you off of Flip Flop Mamma!
Wow! You must be like, Let's have this baby already! I went into overtime too and had Fly at 41 weeks. I hope you get over your cold...take care of yourself!
Hope you're feeling better.
So baby is feeling warm and cozy inside ya and doesn't want to vacate the premises. Must be a boy.
