Hairy tales
**Updated with haircut pictures**
This is a photo of my cranky kid, taken in December. His hair looks good. This is just after it really started growing in and he actually looked not-bald! Now, we have a different story...
When we were in Eastern Canada, the humidity was something of an adventure for us. You can tell, in some of the pictures, that we are really feelin' it. Hunter's hair had a positive response to the humidity which resulted in tight little curls all over his head - soo cute. Now that we are home, we can see that he really is in need of a haircut. He still has the curls, but they are quite long and shaggy. I love his long hair, but I can see that I am being a mean Mom by forcing my son to carry around a heavy head of hair in the hot summer. I guess we're going to have to get a cut, soon. So sad.
August 7th - we have trimmage
The beginning - so long!
Hair on the side of the tub I only trimmed the back

I love Hunters hair and wondered what you thought about it. If you were letting it grow long or what the deal was. I think we will let J's hair grow, but I could see myself cutting it if I felt it was making him MORE hot, poor little dude.
Take lots of pictures.
I hope you didn't take that wrong, like oh poor Hunter that you HAVE to cut it. I just mean poor him that he is too hot. I just hate when parents think that little boys heads should be shaved cause they are boys. Geesh! I'm SURE he will look fabulous once it is cut too!
Love his curls! Gene had the same hair when he was his age...
He will be cute no matter what you do with his hair!
I agree. The curls aren't the only cute thing about him. To quote Hunter: 'Um, yes'. I think it might be time to lighten the hair load. It's always a tough thing to do - the first real haircut! Maybe the longish hair doesn't really bother him or make him hotter!? He is sooo cute!
Looking at my husband, I'm a sucker for curls. i think they look really cute on him!
Wow, his hair grew a lot! Adorable! You want your kid to be comfortable, but oh those curls are so sweet.
Cute! My daughter's hair was the exact same way - head full of tight curls. Needless to say, I'm a curls fan.
Oh, I know how hard that first haircut is!! But if I have a boy, I'm looking forward to the summer buzz cut each year!!
Love it!!!!
Love that little guy. He'd look cute no matter what. I'm sorry I didn't understand him on the phone last night. He still looks soooooo cute. Had to be done I guess. Hard to find a job with long hair. HAHAHAHA Love Frandma
Oh! He looks so cute!
Aww, his hair cut looks great! And he still has his curls too cute!
How does he like it?
Hunter looks very cool with his new haircut! It looks so cute on him - I don't think it looks girly at all! Nice work! (all 'round nice work with your kid, E & J!!)
~ AnnMa???????
It looks great! Such a handsome boy. One question though...if you only cut the back, does that mean he had a mullet?! haha.
I give you credit. I won't go near my kids' hair. Even Baby Bug goes to a stylist!
He looks so cute and grown-up with his new do.
I love the Annma! Sounds good. Love Frandma
