the job hunt

I'm on the hunt for a job. Why, you ask? Well I would like something to return to that's part-time, after my much-anticipated year of maternity leave. However, I am being picky and I will only apply for jobs that I would actually enjoy taking, as I'm not morally able to "hold" a job for a year (and have my district top up my salary) and then never actually do that job. So.... I'm applying every now and then for those that seem to fit what I'd like to do. Sadly, there aren't as many as I thought that I feel will fit my life and my abilities, especially with the new prep time scheduling thingy we have going on here...

The secretary today was saying that it's important that you apply for all kinds of things, otherwise you miss the boat. In fact, she said "you snooze, you lose".

It appears that I might be snoozing. Please keep my family in your thoughts as we attempt to find income for the next year of life... yipes! I'm a little distracted these days.





Here are the latest belly shots. I'm 30 weeks along. It's incredible how quickly this one seems to be going. I'm wearing the same shirt (on sale, I have to get it's money out of it) and I seem to have gotten a little sun on my shoulders today? whaaa??
