While You Were Blogging
Ummm oops.
Check out these babies... nice art-work, Hunter!
annnd... yes, that is roughly the centre of my living room carpet.
***updated to add: Thanks for the tips about how to clean it up. Justin spent about three hours on his hands and knees scrubbing with a toothbrush, a pre-treater and a magic eraser and found that it spread out and sucked up a little bit... however these "crayons" are more like lipstick than crayons, and the colour is AMAZING! Anyhow, we paid someone to come clean the carpet today (we had some other stains as well). Best 60 bucks I've spent in a long time! All clean. I sighed a huuuge sigh of relief and learned my lesson about leaving crayons where Hunter can reach them... and about blogging for too long at a time. hehe ***

That is kind of sad, I must agree! But, on the other had, it will be a great conversation piece AND it does look kind of pretty, the way he has made nice stripes of different colours! Good luck with it!
Wow are those the awesome crayons we bought him for his birthday?? They sure are vibrant colors! Imagine how they'd look on paper. Sorry Liz... did it come out?
Yes, not the smartest thing. Good luck getting that stuff out!
That look great. I'd buyit. Maybe you should sell it?!!
How in the world are you gonna get that out?? I vaguely remember reading an article about to get crayon out of things, but I can't remember what they said. So basically I shouldn't have even mentioned it. LOL
we had an oops on our carpet with candle wax and got it out by putting a tea towel over it and running a hot iron over the tea towel. The wax soaked into the tea towel and out of our carpet. I'd imagine that crayons wouldn't be much different. Unless you want to keep it to showcase Hunters obvious talent ;0)
lol I know it's not funny but it sure is one for the memory box! I hope they manage to get it out
Hey Liz. You got a budding artist there. I know you had the carpets cleaned but I heard baby wipes are fantastic too!
Sounds like things are going great. Enjoy.
Thank goodness! You should see what my kids get into when I'm not watching! LOL!
What a kid. I'm glad for you guys that you could get it off but I gotta say, Hunter does seem to have an inclination for artwork. In fact, I have a gorgeous piece of his next to my bed, on the wall above my head!
xoxo
Eeek! Those stains - you must've had a heart attack when you saw them! So glad to hear that you were able to get 'em out, and at such a good price! Whew!
Hehehe, what a great story to add to the books, eh?
Three hours, oh, you poor things! Hope it comes up. However, it does look beautiful....
glad you got it out! I wish I could still colour on the walls and floor and still get away with it. It justs seems like fun to be so free!
