Feels good
It feels so good to get back in the classroom. Sure, we handed out report cards as the kids were sent home for Spring Break and now I have parents wanting explanations for the marks
Anyhow, it felt so good to be back (even after four-and-a-half hours spent at the school last night, marking the last of the spelling tests and science fair projects) and I had a great day today, despite the challenges I faced. I'm so glad to be in this profession. I'm so very blessed by my job and so thankful for it and the opportunities it brings me.

hey you!
Guess what? I'm now certified to teach English as a Second Language and am planning on going to China in September. When I come back I'm going to (hopefully) enroll in the UVic Faculty of Education. hurrah! I was told that I should teach elementary becuase of my energy and personality (hence I'm going to teach younger kids overseas). But I would like to teach Secondary. Just thought you may be interested!
Elizabeth, it sounds so good to hear your positive thoughts about your first day at work after Spring Break. I'm sure that your students loved seeing you again, too. I think you can safely say that you are well suited to the profession! (Kind of an understatement, I'd say!)
Yay for spring break...and for a niceng weekend coming up. Of course, Easter is more than that, but the added holiday (work/school free) days are a welcome bonus!
I love to hear when teachers love their profession! Hurray!
