Feeling all productive
So far, this Spring Break, I've been feeling pretty productive and springy. Right after returning from our road trip, Hunter and I headed out into the gardens to tackle the winter gunk build-up and do some bulb moving and such. It was great fun. Hunte loved digging beside me with his shovel. We were out until about 6:30pm, which meant we did about three hours of outside playtime/work in the frontyard gardens. Then, yesterday morning we did the same thing. I cleared out nearly all the backyard garden gunk (plus the lawn's winter buildup of needles and cones, which I had already raked into piles before leaving for my field trip). We came in for lunch and I marked my class set of work (that I had sitting and waiting to be marked, like an axe over my head), while Hunter napped. When he awoke, I loaded all the garden gunk into my parents' truck, which they so kindly let me use while they are away, and we took it all to the compost site for the early evening. I felt great about the backyard, nearly all ready for Spring planting and stuff, and ready and prepared to tackle and finish the front yard, today.
This morning, we had a lovely visit from my dear Wynter and her fiance, Chris, and her son. I'm afraid they mostly just watched me eat, but, as always, it was wonderful to see them as they passed through. Also, winter came. This time, I mean WINTER. Like, as in, snow! Whaaaatt??? I have a metre-long list of yard work, what's up with the white stuff? It just stopped falling, as I typed about it. The snow is about two inches all over (sorry, duh, of course it's all over). I'm a little bummed that I missed out on a good chance to get out in my garden and that this snowfall may have hampered my yardwork efforts for the rest of the break. I should have gone to the school to mark my class' science fair projects that are sitting awaiting my attention. I did get some financial re-arranging done, sitting at my desk today, though. Maybe I should get going on cleaning the inside of the house while I can't get outside?? Ah, yes, the cleanliness of Spring!!!

Snow is a crazy hing and I hope you keep it all to yourself. We don't want to see anymore here. I have been motivated to do some outside work and the snow would just kill any enthusiasm that I have for being outside right now. Hope it goes away soon.
it was all sunny and warm here today :D Sorry to hear about the snow.
