procrasti-NATION
I am a full-fledged member of the procrasti-nation. I have a massive stack of marking, my son is in the bathroom destroying everything in his reach, I have report cards waiting to be written, I have a massive list of things to do before my class overnight field trip next week... so I thought that I would just blog about it. Perhaps talking about my dear friend's sweet baby, Catherine, will make me feel better. While she gets to snuggle her little princess (of course I will only mention the most enjoyable part of first-time mommying), I get to slave away at report cards. I got to hold her ten day-old little one on my chest yesterday. It was so wonderful to get to feel a baby's breath on my neck and feel her stretch out her scrunchy legs against me. What bliss and what perfection! I hope you are enjoying your maternity leave, Carolyn! Thanks for letting me snuggle your little angel.

Ahh, newborns on your neck. Isn't that the most wonderful feeling in the world?
You get that with your own newbie soon! And I get that with your newbie too... I'm excited. :)
good to know that procrastination doesn't end when you get out of university...as i write this i am currently putting off writing a paper. it truely is an art :)
p.s. love the overdose of waffles!
Woman, you're amazing. I don't know how you do it, work, mommy and blog. I remember those teaching days all too well, plenty of late nighters grading and doing report cards. And that was before I had kids. Hang in there.
Ah, I miss the soft newborn breath tickling moments.
Awwww! I miss that! Seriously, it makes me ache for another; but then, scrrreeeeeech! uh, yeah, tired. all. the. time. Hmm. Okay, now that I've gotten a mean flashback I'll just live vicariously through you snuggling your friend's ten-day old. Such sweetness, though. Nothing else in the world quite like it!
How are you doing?
All hail Procrastination!
I'm the worst for that.. always have been! Hah!
You're amazing no matter what.. you're having a baby and you have a young son and a husband, you're allowed to be behind once in a while!
YAY for snuggling with a wee baby :)
Take care!!
Yay for procrastination - I think it is our subconcious saying to relax.
I just LOVE newborns. Everything about them. I wish I could do a job where I worked with them all day.
That newborn feel is the best! Mine is already moving out of that stage=( Only 3 months old but so strong already...goes by way to fast!
And I totally hear ya on the procrastination thing! I'm notorious for that AND being late (maybe the 2 are connected somehow!).
Just checking out your blog through Amanda F's links=)
