The Rut
I feel like I am in a rut... a craftiness, creativeness, decorating rut. When my living space was restricted to a small space, such as a bedroom or the small apartment I lived in, I spent a lot of time redecorating my living space. As my tastes changed I would re-arrange the few pieces of furniture that I had, or I would get a new thing and make up some kind of display for that. I feel like I need to get some creativeness going, in a area besides lesson-planning. I've been checking out a couple blogging buddies as they are getting into sewing, stamping/card-making, crafting and scrap-booking... all kinds of fun stuff. It totally motivates me to get off my duff and do some of that fun stuff. While my garden is out of commission until the snow melts and my Christmas gifts are done for this past year, anyhow, I need some kind of project to beat out my winter blahs (a totally new thing for me).
So... I moved the couch. It has been in the same place since we first put it in the living room. I just realized, though, it's going to have to go back because Hunter now has access to the 8 foot drop to our front entryway. Well, there's a morning's project, at least. Maybe I'll go scrub my bathroom again. Goodness knows I see every dustball these days...

I feel the same, want to be creative. Just, how do we find the time/energy? If you find the answer, let me know.
