Mwahahahahaa

Yes... wireless internet and Amanda's laptop. I'm still in it! My family thinks that I am a loser because I was itching to leave our condo to come into "The Village" to use the 'net JUST so that I could blog. Well, hey, I'm into this thing by 24 days... I can't quit yet. I'm committed.

So, my first day on one plank, in ten years from the last time I downhill skied.... whew! It was pretty good. Justin was very supportive and patient as I slowly made my way down the runs. Brake stop brake stop... I've fallen sooo many times, I can't even count. It's beautiful here. Freshly fallen snow. I love it. One happy story is that I has hooked up with one day free rental. I was filling in my information to rent when a young man appeared behind us and offered us hs complementary rental because he had his own gear. I just wish that I had been able to come to my senses soon enough to offer him a "thanks" payment of some kind. Thanks, to him!

Hunter had a rough night last night. He didn't nap well at all on Friday and then didn't sleep long enough on the trip here. He fell asleep, me beside him, at about 10pm. At 1am, he awoke, he was too warm. So, I stripped him to a diaper to awake two hours later to him tearing at the diaper. I put it back on and discovered that it was to late.. wet bed. So, that made the first night of our trip a little more memorable than desired. He has really enjoyed the snow and is having fun peeking our the window at the skiers and boarders that are zooming past our unit. Some are not zooming, like me of course.

Well, here's to hoping that the night's sleep is better than last and that I'm not unbearably stiff tomorrow...

How fun to be in the snow. I bet Hunter's loving it, and you too seeing him enjoy himself. My kids always have a hard time taking naps and sleeping whenever we are away from home too.

I hope you decide to stay in our fair city for one night longer. The roads are a mess. If you head home tonight, I hope you have a safe trip.
