meanderings

I've had close to 150 hits since I last posted, but only 21 comments... I'm at 1/5th to my goal. Oh well. It's funny though. I've outed some of my lurking readers. Thanks guys. I looove getting new comments and it's so cool to see comments from those that I read or have read. The craziest thing is comments from those whose blogs I've never seen before... new stuff! So, thank you to all those that commented to help me try to get 100. If you feel that you want to go back and read (or just comment on) my 100, I'd love it. Lurkers, thanks for reading. It's cool to know that I'm doing something right in the blog sense...

I'm done my report cards. It feels great. The challenge now is to figure out what my next goals are going to be. I've learned so much, as a teacher, these last few weeks. It's been a cool experience, though somewhat stressing, to collaborate with so many different individuals.

About my time with my grade 1s ending. I'm really sad about it. That means that I only have 10 days left with them. I can't believe that they have grown so much and that they are going to go on without me? I'm sure that I will be feeling this way every year, with every group. I just feel particularily close to these kids. It's so neat to be a part of their growing up, and to feel like I am important to them, as they are to me.

Hunter played his first bowling game this afternoon. It was wild. He would just chuck the balls yelling "ball" and "srow". What a little man he is becoming! He piggy-backed his way into the winning team, on my back ;)

Sorry that this post is so all-over-the-place. I will try to post later this evening, to talk about Discovery Toys... that is, once I get next week figured out.
