Is this the end? Hunter didn't nurse last night before bed.
Let me explain, he is still as sucky as ever, but I have been trying to stop nursing.
Hmmm... I feel like I need to defend my decision... I strongly dislike that feeling. I figure that nursing my child that can walk and talk and is nearly a year-and-a-half old...is not a decision that I am choosing to make for my family. Plus, the serious teethmarks that I had on my boob the other night, were a very painful experience (we've been through the biting thing, trust me! Hunter has a full mouth of teeth.)... an experience that I do not wish to repeat.
So, I'll wipe away the tears as I say goodbye to a stage in my life.. nursing my firstborn.
Is it bad that I feel like I'm more sad about it than he is??? Even typing those words - I am weaning Hunter - makes me feel like... ummm.. maybe not today? A Little longer won't hurt.. will it?
Well, we'll see... As I type Hunter is saying "baby baby baby baby"... I know, I know, you aren't one anymore... and umm.. yeeeessssss, we'd like another one of those...

As you can see in these pictures, Hunter looooves babies. These were taken in September when we babysat Emily overnight. Practice session for someday when we have more than one... hee hee
