Salmon Run

Today was a non-instructional day in our district. I had a list of things to do that stretches from head to toe (oh wait, it's still that long). One of the things to do was scope out the site of the Salmon Run because I am bringing my grade 1 class there, on Tuesday. So, we went. Our little family. It was a great adventure and Hunter quite enjoyed being able to walk around on the side of the river and throw rocks and stuff... which, of course, I will not allow my students to do (he only throws them 30 cm at the most, I figured it'd be okay...).
I'm looking forward to the field trip. I sure hope that the weather is as great as it was today!

Sweet! Cool thing to do on your Friday.
You and your family look like you're really taking advantage of a beautiful day! Right on! I can't believe how fast Hunter has grown up. And I like the side profile of Hunter and Justin - like father like son!
Just wanted to let you know about a great book you should try to get at the library possibly for your class on salmon. It's called Salmon River.
I am happy to see you smiling and I trust that all is going great for ya!
He's such a cutie!
You guys have had so many great adventures already.. he's going to have such a wonderful childhood!
Can't wait to see you!
Looks like you guys had a great time....I'm jealous. See you guys in 13 more days YAAAAAH! I got my air miles card thanks. I hope you felt free to add a few more miles to my collection. I think I'll almost make it off the runway.

I remember going field trips to the Salmon run! And also going there with my family too. We went every year it was always a fun time.
I (and my husband) are originally from Salmon Arm, it's a little far to come from Coquitlam though...
Great pictures too!

Hey liz! I love the pictures, it is so nice seeing the salmon at this time of year. Hunter looks so content being carried on the back's of mom and dad :)
Hasn't the weather been fantastic? Great shots!
Too sweet. It sure looks as though he loved it.
What a great fieldtrip that will make!
