Camera in Bucket!

So, on Thanksgiving my cxamera experienced a new adventure - swimming! While the carseat was being picked up, stacked with Hunter's stuff and my stuff, the camera went tumbling into a nearby bucket of water. I was very sad and was nearly convinced that I would not be able to take pictures for a while, but five years wasn't bad for the life of a digital camera. Sick, really, but not too bad when I hear about all the cameras around me that are fritzing out. So... I was pretty disappointed, but hey - it's not like it was Hunter that landed on his head in a bucket of water... no biggie.
So, we tried to dry it off as best we could. We didn't really achieve any great success because there was some serious fritzing that was observed. When we got home Justin took it all apart and let the parts all dry out separately. When Justin put the camera together again, it worked!!!! Sooo happy.
It's amazing how God looks out for even the silly little things like that, eh? He knows how much I like documenting my life through photos and knows that Justin and I probably won't be able to afford a replacement camera for, at least, ten years... so, He let it be okay! Thank you!
