and so it begins
Well, here we go...
I worked my last day of work, yesterday, and today I am at home for my regular weekend. The only difference is that school does not begin again on Monday and that when school does begin, in September, I won't be there. I still have no "job" to return to, neither does Justin. However, there was a round that closes today that we hope to hear from. If not... we'll just keep applying for stuff. I have to get a letter together letting the district know that I won't be working in September.
All that being said, I guess (though not technically) my maternity leave has begun. It's pretty sweet to get two months off before baby's approximate date of arrival. I sure would like to have that time on the other end of things, but it will be great to get some more quality time with Hunter and Justin before we become a family of four. We have a lot of adventures planned for ourselves that I sure hope we can enjoy. There are a few weddings, some road trips and camping trips, as well as lots of things to do at home and I'd love to do some more canning this summer. I have almost used up all my preserves from last summer. I have a long list of things that I dream of doing, but if I don't get to it... oh well.
Happy summer holidays...
