Horrification

June 13 / 96
Wow, today was the last official day of grade 10. It's really freaky to think of everything I've gone through (what, like a crush an obsession that lasted the entire year... whatever 15-year-old self, try CHILDBIRTH!) in grade 10. Lots of people had their first kisses! Not me thought. Oh well, my time will come. It's so depressing to think that a whole year went by and nothing really happened (uhhh I thought you went through a lot?) to me! Well, I guess you could count the "Ian thing" (ha! we "went out" for a total of fifty minutes or something ridiculous) but that wasn't much. Somewhere, there is a guy for me. I just don't know who he is! I hope I can meet him before I turn 16. When I turn 16, it's going to be a big deal. I want to have a huge bash. Like that will happen though! I better be kissed before I turn 16. I do not want to be "16 and never been kissed" I would just cry. (It turns out that I was and I didn't cry) I want a man. Maybe I'll meet a guy this summer as I travel across the country? You never know! It could happen. Please let it!

Oh my. It appears that I was totally boy-crazy and wanted to have a boyfriend pretty badly. Sadly, this theme continues throughout a large number of my journal entries throughout the years. How humiliating! I'm so glad that I have a wonderful husband to love me. Yeesh, imagine if I was still in my boy-crazy ways?? Agh. Justin, I love you!

That is sooo funny! Apparently Canadian girls aren't as fast as American girls! I had my first kiss in the 8th grade!!! I would die if my kid did though!

Haha...that's awesome Liz. Mine wasn't until grade 12 - unless you count Allen in the chicken coop in grade 2. Thank God for wonderful, loving husbands.

Haha, those were the days. Your journal sounds simliar to mine (all the "trials and tribulations of love I went through!)...geez its so funny to look back on all that. And Ian..totally rememebr that!

Lucky for me though, I was proposed to in Grade 3..ring and everything. Sadly enough I never did get to give an answer !

And thank God I didn't say YES! I'd be without my hubby Brent who I LOVE LOVE LOVE!

Thanks for the laughs
