Just so you know

I only have one day left of work before my Christmas break begins. Well, one day then one evening Christmas concert (after a few hours of frantic preparations of staff Christmas gifts).
It will really be a whole new life in 2007. Here's why...

1) I will no longer have my grade 1 class (I was covering a mat leave and she's back) on Monday and Tuesday. I will onl be working two days a week, then perhaps picking up some other days as a TOC (substitute teacher).

2) Justin got a full-time job! Yahoo. Except that now I'll have to go back to cooking dinners. Argh.

3) We are intending to begin potty training Hunter. We'll see how it goes. I'd like to have more time with him when I do it so that I don't fee; like I am asking someone else to do it for me.

4)I'm sure there are some other reasons, but I can't think of them at this time. You'll just have to stick around into 2007!

P.S. I'm not finished all my gifting yet.. argh!

Good luck with the potty training.... Dylan was around 17 months when we first started the process... And by 18 months he was getting the hang of things. One piece of advice... Make it fun..No pressure and he'll be saving you money in no time.

wow, you're so brave! we finally had two successes right in a row today with Max. We had to buy a new potty and it seems to have done the trick for today. We also have a spare downstairs in the playroom after today's episode of Max cruising up the stairs with you-know-what sliding down his legs. WE'LL GET THERE!

If you find anything that really seems to work or make potty training easier, please share. We are thinking of trying again with Ian after the holidays, I'm apprehensive to say the least.

I'm with ya, I hate making dinner also.
