Addicted to beaning
It's official. I am addicted to harvesting beans!!!
Bohnanza is one of the greatest games that I have ever played.
I can't seem to get enough. Ever since J and I played this game with Dustin and Christy (I hear they were taught by Kevin and April, whose blog I peruse, loyally) in December, I have been dreaming about beans almost every night. Justin and I bought the game and have played it quite regularly (I would play it more frequently, but there are other things that need to be done - like making meals, for instance).
If you live in Summerland, like games and are curious about beaning, I am going to have to get you to talk to D and C (see Heigh Inside) about getting an introduction. If you don't live in Kamloops and aren't interested in a road trip.... you'll just have to imagine how great it is, or buy it and try it out. Other than that, I will play you anytime...just call me (or leave me a comment, if you haven't my number).
I'm gonna go bean some more...

I'll have to check it out. Wanna know another addictive game? Settlers of Catan. It's a mix of Monoploly and Risk.

I second the Settlers of Catan game - it's absolutely addicting and tons of fun....and Scattegories is a new addiction of mine. I am totally curious about Bohnanza. Liz, hook me up.

I love Settlers! I play it with my sister Amber. I have yet to try Bohnanza. I'm sure Liz will show me the ropes soon.
Yes, we too love the Beanz came. We also love Carcassonne. Its a newer German Game for us. Not quite as much activity in the game. But fun.
D&C taught us Bohnanza on Boxing Day. It WAS fun! And even funner (more fun?) because I won (thanks to Christy, of course)
:)
YAY bean game! WE have yet to find a couple who has as much fun playing with us as you guys and the Galbraiths. Summerland couples just as into gaming as us. WHat can I say we're nerds. Gamiing nerds. You can come and play with us anytime!!!!
Well, maybe people here ARE inot gaming but it just gets hard wwith all the little people running around.
We played the bean game with Dustin and Christy too!! I had fun, although I must say it didn't compare to our later game of Mario Cart. I think the Bean Game gets better as you play it more because you understand it better and can strategize! I liked it though because it's different than all the cranium and gestures and such things. You don't have to more however, you still have to think...just the one down side!
