Garbage and stuff...

So, Justin and I pride ourselves on not being very wasteful and not producing a lot of garbage. We have a compost and we recycle (well, I recycle), so we feel pretty good about the fact that we don't produce very much trash. We have a tenant who also produces trash from our home, (he actually produces more than J and I) but still, our amount is low. The fact is that we are allowed to have three cans, bags or bundles of 50 lbs each. We have one can and our tenant usually has two full bags.
So, our garbage day was Thursday and then whenever we have a holiday it gets bumped another day. So... it was Thursday when the holidays hit. Monday and Tuesday were a day off for city workers and so we just didn't get a garbage day at all this past week. Now, Monday is also a holiday! Man! We are piling up the trash. I had to take a picture for you to enjoy. I am counting the minutes until Tuesday morning!! Lucky that we are allowed to have double the normal amount on our first day after Christmas! These city guys think of everything!
