I have one of those kids

I feel like Hunter is sick a lot.
Fever, ABO conflict and jaundice at birth
Cold #1
Baby measles
Cold #2
Cold #3
Now, we are in cold #4 and it is the biggest yet. Last night, I was up all night with a coughing baby boy. It's so hard to see his nose dripping snot and know that I can try all I want, but he just doesn't understand how to help get the rest of it out... blow! Also, it is terrible to listen to his hacking phlegm cough as he works it out, then to watch him swallow it because he doesn't yet know how to spit! Also, when he eats, he has to stop every three seconds because he can't breathe through his nose! Sigh, soon enough I guess. Anyhow, it is very frustrating and really hard. All night, I was scared that he would choke because he kept coughing then swallowing it, then forgetting to breathe for a little bit - yipes!
But, now, in the morning (or afternoon because we needed the extra sleep), he is cheery, but the nose drip doesn't stop... Yesterday, he was better, but I guess we aren't out of the woods yet!

Isn't this picture hilarious?? "No, Mom, I don't want to snuggle!!"

Thanks for the advice, I am a Q-tip maniac! I find the booger-sucker best for runniness, though.
