My Wynter

I just got home from a great visit. I was visiting my friend Wynter. I don't think that there is anyone in the world like my girl, Wynter. She's pretty incredible. Not only does she have a whole season named after her (but, they spelled it wrong), she is one of my strongest friends and she (although, she may not know it) pushes me to improve my relationship with Jesus. It's also great to be with someone that knows me as well as she does and worries, for me, about the things that I don't like to think about.

Wynter and I can talk about anything and nothing at the same time, it's the greatest. Tonight, we sat and watched our kids for a while, while talking, of course. Wynter's son is Storm (cool names, right?). He is three and a quarter and I am lucky to have him as my friend, too. Storm and Justin like to play rough. Storm and I like to bake, or pretend bake - make rice krispies. Justin and I were blessed, this past year, with many chances to hang out with Storm at our place. We had lots of fun and I know that Justin and I have lots of good memories of times spent with him.

Wynter, thank you for the great gift of your friendship (and Storm, too). We will miss you when we are in Kamloops, but remember... the guest room is yours and Storm can camp in the yard ;)

P.S. Many blessings on your new job and your new digs!!
