Relocating

As you may have figured.. my url no longer applies. So, I'm in the process of moving. New space and new server. I'm going wordpress. I actually had a wordpress blog last year, but I never got over there, so we're starting from scratch this time.
Any pointers on how to make things easy and to keep all my old blog stuff on the new site? I am going to take a lot of work to figure out how to personalize with wordpress so bear with me while I work through it. So far, all I have is my domain. I'll let you know what it is when I get there... whenever that will be.
