Photo shoot
I definitely don't have the photography skills of some people, not mentioning any names (Christy, Kelly, Angella, Amanda), but I like to have fun. I realized that I have fallen into the category of people with millions of photos of the first and, well, less than a million of the second. With Hunter I have an entire album of the first week of his life. With Susannah, well, I don't have ANYWHERE near that. So, we had a little photo shoot. Man, I need some lessons. I'll have to keep checking Angella's Foto Fridays to hone my (lack of) skillz.
At one week old (and a day), Susannah has grown 1.25 inches in length and gained one entire pound from her first at-home-check-weight of 7lbs 11.5oz. She eats all the time! I'm amazed that after the first days of 18 nursing sessions per day, she has already set herself onto a cycle of roughly every four hours. Sigh, such is the life of a newborn. I don't want her to grow up too fast.

It is a real treat to see how kids grow up; babies and their Moms, too. Great idea to keep a good, and on-going, photo-log. It helps to mark the passing time, 'cuz you sure can't slow it down! That is one cute little baby girl you have there, looks just like her Mom did at that age, and that wasn't really that long ago. Keep up the good work looking after that little family of yours, a lifetime of loving is the best that you can hope for.

Also, shucks, I wouldn't consider my photo skillz anywhere near as good as those other ladies. Thanks though. I am sure that Sooz the Muse will bring out your best photos yet. :)

Photo shoots are so fun! And frustrating when the subject moves and moves and moves. At least newborns are more likely to stay still.

Your photog skills are perfect; these are the pictures of love and it's oozing out of every pore of your momma body! Sooz is absolutely beautiful. *sigh* I know I ramped up my picture-taking after LMS was born only bc ppl insisted that I would NEVER take as many pix of the second as I did with TBG. Man were they completely wrong!!!

you did great! It takes time to figure out all the bells and whistles. Just remember, put her in front of a window or door open and shoot with all that natural light on her to get the best lighting. You can't go wrong with it.
Gotta' love that onesie! (now I know how you spell it!).
