My Blog style
I don't have actual style, I'll be the first to admit it, Justin will agree. I prefer to wear "free" clothes (ones that came from some tournament or being a member of a team) to work clothes. However, since I became a Mom and a professional (each happened within a few weeks of the other), I've tried to get a little more style. I'm working on it...
Thank you to everyone who said very positive things about "my look" with long or short hair. I appreciate it. The short has a lot more fans than I thought! I still don't know how easy it would be to get done all fancy for a wedding. Perhaps I will pay a visit to Angelica, my hair dresser and hair consultant (I don't think that she knows she is that, I just made it up right now...) to see what she thinks I could do for "wedding-fancy".
Anyhow, this post wasn't supposed to be about that... it's supposed to be about my style in reading blogs. Now... I read a lot of blogs. Scratch that. A LOT of blogs. As in, many many. As in, I procrastinate. I love to read what other people (mostly women) have to say about their families and their lives. I feel like I truly have grown by reading the things that you have shared.
Very rarely will I read a new blog and not leave a comment. I like people to know that I've been there. Maybe it's my "centre-of-attention" problem, I'm not sure... I just wanted to say that I love getting your comments and seeing the hits go up on my site meter. Thank you for taking the time to visit, or to comment. It is pretty cool to feel like I have friends all over the world. Because. I do. I call all of you readers my friends (especially if I actually know that you read my blog, either because we've discussed it or you've commented). I feel fortunate to have "met" you and I think of you often. Is that creepy? Because, I just want to let you know that I am not a creep, but in fact... well, I'm just not a creep, okay?
Read about me. Learn about my tree-saving attempts, my rookie greenhouse and gardening fun, my adventure of meeting my husband, and my labour of love... It's all fun. Watch my son grow, enjoy it. Enjoy him. We all know that I do. Annnnddd.. now I'm rambling.
It's funny how you can read someone's blog for a long time and comment lots, but then they comment on yours and it makes you so excited. Yippeee a new friend! Thank for the comment, Teresa.

I just had to comment, Elizabeth, on how readily you share your life stories and personal feelings with others. It's amazing! Also, I think that the way you trust others to appreciate hearing about your life is one of the most beautiful expressions of your love and respect for others. I feel truly blessed to be your Mom. I love you!
Hi Elizabeth! =) Wow how'd you stumble upon our blog?? Thanks for commenting - your little boy is adorable!!!

:) I do love reading your blog. Also I feel it's great when someone actually leaves a comment, so that you know who is reading your blog and that you can repay the visit :)
You're so cute Liz. I love reading your blog too, and I love how devoted you are to updating it!! I'm sorry I'm so lazy with my blog, but thanks for always leaving a comment when you visit. I like receiving them too :)
Okay, I'm officially creeped out.
Jk
I feel the same way about comments - and I appreciate all of the ones you leave me! Rock on, blog on.
PS - I like the shorter hair too. I'm always a fan of shorter hair on people who can pull it off. I never could, so maybe that's why.
It's nice to feel so connected, hey? And now when you come tom visit Christy, you know more of us girls :)
I love reading blogs too! And I agree with what you have said, I am glad that you came over to our blog and the we "met". :)
I love you, blog or no blog! But yay for blogs since we rarely can seem to get together.
I'm so glad to be your friend.
Liz I always read your blog and I'm amazed at how many people read your blog and comment. It actually makes me a little sad because then I look at my poor, poor pitiful blog that only gets 1...2...and on a really great day 3 comments. Could it be because I don't blog daily or I just don't have any friends... BOO HOO :(
And by the way I love your hair SHORT...
Yay for new friends!! I've enjoyed reading your blog for awhile, and thought it was about time i left a comment :)
I love it...people I've never even met (or only met one time...years ago as is the case with you) are all part of my links (which makes them a part of my day)...
you have to check out the picture my sister julie just put up on her blog...hilarious! and maybe a lesson for a mommy with a growing boy? :)
Yes I too enjoy reading yours and all my other blooger buds. It is nice to know we can all talk and share our life stories with eachother. Even though most of us have never met in person and most likey never will, it's fun knowing that we are all here for eachother via the internet;) I've enjoyed getting to know you and hearing about your beautiful family and life adventures. Blogs are the BEST!!
Hello friend!
Hello, dear friend! Blogging does help make the world seem a little smaller. It helps knowing there are others out there similiar to you, loving family and life.
