Raspberry boy
We are lucky to have a few raspberry canes in our backyard. J and I looove raspberries. Hunter does too, as this story will tell...
The other day, as I was working in the yard, I noticed that my harvest was getting a little heavy. I went to grab an ice cream pail and began to fill it up. As I was working, Hunter caught notice of my task and decided to crawl over to "help." Our canes are positioned at the top of a four foot rock wall. Well, a rock wall is no problem for my son because he just proceeded to climb it (from the walkway, so he walked up the path and climbed about 2.5 feet straight up) and sit at the top, watching me pick. When I was finished, he babbled to be picked up, so I picked him up. He reached into the raspberry pail.. (the bottom of the pail was covered in berries, so there were robably about 15 berries)... shoved the berries, fist after fist, into his mouth. As I carried him to show J the berry-piglet, he continued to shove them into his mouth. He wouldn't share with me, when I opened my mouth for him to put some into my mouth, however he passed abuot five berries to J. Here are some pictures of him sitting on the futon, eating raspberries.
