She's here, she's here!
Two things...
Meg is coming to Vancouver on Friday and I get to see her!!!! Yipeee.. First time I've seen her since my wedding in 2003. Justin and I are going to drive down to see her for a few hours before she takes off for India!!!!
Also, I have been teaching in a bunch of different classrooms at my elementary school, for the last couple days... it's crazy fun! Anyhow, I am in each classroom for only forty minutes so I have to rush and most of the kids know that I am coming when I arrive, because the teacher has prepped them.
So... the story... I walk into a French Immersion kindergarten classroom during their snack clean-up. One little girl gasps and yells "She's here! Madame, she's here!!! She's here!!!!" Then, she turns to the teacher, points at me (uhhh thanks, for annoucing my arrival, kid). Turns back to me.... open mouth.. "...and she's beautiful!" (Sigh, kid, you just made my day!!)
I love kindergarten.
