My grabby-pants baby

Today, I fully expected to only work the morning. As it happens, I was called into the same school as I had been at since Tuesday, but for a different teacher. Anyhow, I got called to the office at 8:15 and was informed that I needed to go into the other classroom as the teacher had tried to come to work, but still wasn't up to par, so she had gone home. So, today... I did my own English 11 lesson plan. It went pretty well. I hope that the kids enjoyed it, because I sure did. Anyhow, my point...

Without fail, on the days that I am thrilled to be working a half-day and have things planned to do when I get home... I work the whole day.
I was sooo lucky to have Fran bring Hunter to see me at lunch time, for a little mommy-lovin' and nursin'. But, who switched kids on me???? I left her with a sweet, little, still-mellow-from-being-sick, smiley boy.. apparently sometime as I was driving away from their house, a switch was hit... all day he has been grab grab grab throw. And grunting and groaning until he gets somethings more interesting, then grab grab grab throw and the cycle continues. Whew!
Did I sign up for this? It's so funny how I get into a routine with him and then, PING, something changes... he grows, or cuts a tooth... then I have a whole new kid to get to know.

Welcome to the next thirty years, eh?

LOL Yes. That is exactly like it is. Just as things get easy, they keep us on our toes again.

Kids's like routine. And they like to change it whenever they want :)

I think his grunting is the cutest sound ever.
