Handy...

Justin has spent this week of Spring Break doing some fixing up of things around our house. We installed a dishwasher in December and we just hadn't gotten around to replacing the cupboard that we ripped out to make room. So, that was this week's job as Hunter now can climb into the space that we had made (to the right of the dishwasher). My kitchen, to say the least, has been in a serious state of disaster for two reasons 1) renovation and 2) ladies Sundae night on Tuesday.

One day last week, I got home after being out and I saw Justin hard at work in the kitchen. Actually, he had his head shoved into a hole in our cupboards, trying to screw on the rail for the new cabinet. I (oh so sweetly) said, "Sweetheart, that's looks great. Is there something that I can do to help you?" I'll admit that I was fully expecting a "no" because we all know that I was only asking to be nice. Well, the response I got was more along the lines of.." Sure, you can try screwing this thing on for a bit because I am too big to do it." my response... "Uhhhhh, okay" Justin goes to get a sandwich amidst the disaster in our kitchen and sits himself down in front of the TV while I struggle with the stupid flippin' cabinet. Well, I guess that it paid off being little, because I got it. Justin calls from the living room. "This is great, I really feel relaxed." (grumble grumble - from me)

He came in to check my handiwork and was impressed. He finished the last touch to my job for me (so sweet). So, I should've known better, but I thought that I would go for it... "Is there anything else that you would like me to do?"

"Actually, yes, shove yourself into this cupboard and screw the new cupboard onto the rail from inside."

Hunter thought that it was terrific! Completed pictures to come eventually...
