The Moms in my life

I'm a Mom. I feel so lucky to be one. It's the greatest job I could ask for. There are times when it seems strange to me, that I am a Mom and that I can't even believe that this little being, whom I call my son, is such an amazing creation. I am truly blown away.

Mothers' Day is coming up. I want to dedicate this post to the Moms in my life.

I want to start with my Mom, my wonderful Mom. I am a lucky lucky girl to have a Mom like mine. She knows me so well. She is a beautiful woman who shows me, through the things she does, how to be a loving wife and mother. Also, she shows me how to be a teacher. She is so enthusiastic about the things that she does, that I can't help but get excited with her. She is an incredibly strong woman who follows through with what she believes and supports those that she loves, 100%. She loves endlessly.
I love that she loves my son. She enjoys spending time with him and I am so thankful to her for the time that she sacrifices to take care of him. I am so grateful that our little man knows her so well, and is loved so deeply. I feel so blessed to have her in my life and to be so close to her. I am so grateful to her for making all the sacrifices that she has, in order to help me grow up. Thank you Mom.
Mommy, I love you. I couldn't do it without you.

My Mom-in-law, Fran is another terrific lady. Fran serves endlessly and tirelessly. She is always there when we need her, and Justin and I appreciate that. It seems like I have been her daughter-in-law forever, because I feel like I know her (and she knows me) so well. Fran sacrifices so much for her kids, I feel fortunate to have been accepted as one of her kids, because I have been blessed by her support and her service. She also, loves Hunter immensely. She is always willing to watch him, when Justin and I work. Fran, thank you for giving up so much of your free time to support Justin and I in our careers. I am so glad that Hunter has had the chance to develop a relationship with you. Thank you Fran, I appreciate everything more than words can say. I love you

There are so many Moms (and Moms-to-be) that I look up to, admire, appreciate, and think of often. I know that I, very well, may forget to list some, but here you are ladies... I love you!
Elizabeth (Gran), Jenny Z., Jenny D, Beka, Maureen S, Janice, Teresa, Mary, Kathryn, Rolynda, Sarah, Richelle, Heather, Jacquie, Paula, Wynter, Danica, Christy, Angella, Amanda B, Stephanie, Kelly, Linda, Randi, Marlene, Lori, April, Amanda F, Sharon, Karen, Jen, Candace, Maureen M, Melany, Melissa, ... the list goes on and on.
Thank you for all the love that you share with your kids, grandkids, nieces, nephews, cousins, etc... You are wonderful and beautiful, strong women.

Thank you so much for your kind words, Elizabeth. It was such a sweet surprise for me to read your comments on the blog, after having been away for 2 days - learning more about teaching and getting more excited about what can be done in the classroom!
One thing you didn't mention is that being a Mom is made so much easier when you have children who are so loving and accepting of mothering. Your never-ending quest to be a fantastic wife and mother is amazing to witness! You've been a wife for only 3 years and a Mom for only 1, and you have it pretty well figured out already! You bring so much joy to my life every day! You know how much it means to me to be a part of your life as a Mom, Mom-in-law and Grandma! I love you and cherish your part in my life! Thank you for being you!

My dear sweet Elizabeth, Thank you so much for the kind words. I just am who God created me as. How can I not sacrifice for you and Justin and Hunter when you are such blessings in my life. That little boy of yours is so incredible and your parenting skills are awesome. (don't like the crying to sleep bit but I am such a softie when it comes to Hunter) Glad to help you guys out in any way I can. Love you so much. Love Fran
