Hi Elizabeth -- to look for new templates, just type in 'free blogger templates' into a google search. That, or sometimes someone will have a link to where they got theirs from at the bottom of their sidebar. Good luck!
ps. it took A LOT of trial and error for me to figure that stuff out, and I think it's still mostly luck when I get it right!
