Apology
Ok, so I said that I would start to post pictures and things about the important people in our life, but I have not yet done that... oops! I can make all kinds of excuses, but I won't. I'll just start to do what I said I would.
So, here goes.

This is my Dad (with Hunter when he was only 11 days old). He is a first-time grandparent. I love how good he is with Hunter. He is incredibly talented at multi-tasking, comes from having 4 kids of his own, I guess. Dad does all kinds of stuff when he is holding Hunter and the little man loves to check out new stuff. My Dad is referred to as "Papa G". Thank you, Dad, for being an exceptional father and grandfather and a terrific role model for me as a parent, teacher and partner. I love seeing how he and my Mom plan their adventures together now that their kids are older. Dad, thank you for coming on the bus (that even broke down) to see Hunter and I in the hospital when Hunter was first born. I love you!

Now, here is my Mom "Mama G" with Hunter on Fathers' Day 2005. They are boating at Heffley Lake. My Mom is awesome! I love her to bits. I think that she is terrific, which is pretty good because I am growing up to be pretty much exactly the same as her. It's so funny that I am always told that I look like her! Delivering substitute teacher cards in Kamloops, I have encountered a number of people who can't tell why I am so familiar...??? Perhaps, because I look exactly like my mother? Ha! She feels bad that I look like her and sometimes apologizes that I hear that all the time. Guess what Mom, I love it. There is nobody that I would rather look like because I think that you are beautiful! I love how my Mom is so in love with my son, too. She's a little bit baby-hoggy, but it's great. It's great because I can understand why I am so lucky to be in this family and how I have developed to be me! My Mom is an incredible teacher. I hope that I can grow up to be a teacher like her! Thank you for coming to be with me when Hunter was being born.
I'm the luckiest girl in the world to have such terrific parents.
